Don't forget what the season is about. 

What is it about people.

     What is it about people. So I'm not really sure how to put this into words. I know a guy , I would call him a friend, he was always great to be around, and we did have a few good times together. He had a pretty big life change and is no longer someone I associate with, not because of choice, or because I disagree with what happened in his life, just because we no longer run in the same circles. Anyway, it's like he suddenly went to the dark side or something. He now hates the association that I'm still involved with, and enjoys taking stabs at it, whenever he can. It's just plain strange to me. 

    

     It's kind of like a guy who gets divorced from a woman he loved for several years, and now suddenly he hates her and every chance he gets he talks about how terrible she is. Well if he married her in the first place, he must have had good feelings for her. He must have had some great times, at least to begin with. How do you have such a change of heart, going from loving to hating. And even if you do, what is the point of being childish enough to name call, and bash and put down that person. Or in this case that association. 

      I don't agree with everything that this association does, but I don't hate it, or even go around bashing it every time I get a chance.  Of course I still enjoy the benefits of it, and he doesn't. I guess what I'm trying to get at though is I don't want to think that I would ever be that way. I don't want to think that I could go around bashing, or putting down someone, or something that I was no longer a part of, even if I didn't agree with it. I really thought this guy was better than that as well, and it's a little disappointing. I must admit, I'm not in his shoes, and I don't see it from his point of view. 

I'm just venting, I'm just trying to understand.  

 I'm sorry this post is so cryptic, I don't want to offend this person, and I don't want to bring the association's name into it either. I just thought I would try to understand the purpose of this persons actions. 

Starting to come together.

So on Sunday I got a group of friends and family together and we all went down and lifted the bed up and onto my truck. I din't get the best pictures, but it does look good haveing th ebed back on it.

Little bit of color

Well i  went today and helped move some things around. Scot had the back of the cab painted,  we painted the front of the bed while I was there, so of course I had to take a few pictures. 

Technology Bus

I read this quote from a Law enforcement article. written y Jim Donahue & John Demand. Anyway, i really like the quote, and feel that so many of us are that kid chasing the technology bus, and resenting it the entire time.

As the game-playing world gears up for one of the year's biggest game launches, two men apparently decided they didn't want to have to wait in long lines to get their copies of "Call of Duty: Black Ops" when it hits stores tomorrow.

They also decided they didn't want to have to pay any money for the game.

Instead, they picked up hand guns, held up a Baltimore-area GameStop store and then proceeded to take 100 copies of the much-anticipated first-person shooting game.

So Ricky, Kenneth and I all went riding today. We rode up to 1000 springs, and found a little bit of snow, and a whole lot of mud. it was a blast.

I took a Photography class for work last week. My class was for Crime scene photos, and learning how to use a higher end DSLR camera. Anyway I took this picture of Kenneth, and thought it came out pretty cool. Tell me what you think.

BAD COMPANY

I first saw this video on Facebook, one of my fellow officers posted it. I think it's a pretty amazing video. I especially like the K9 dog bites.. Great stuff. The Band is five finger death punch, and I recommend looking for there official video on you-tube, because it's a tribute to the Armed forces in Iraq. Anyway I hope you enjoy this.

The Hunger Games

     So if you haven't read the Hunger Games trilogy, it's an amazing set of books. I was drawn in from the first book, and had to read them all. It was very different, and very exciting. Every chapter ended in a cliffhanger, and demanded that I continue reading for another chapter. Then another, and another to the point I was staying up way to late just to read this book.  That being said, I HATED THE ENDING. I was so disappointed in the ending of the final book. I was actually mad at the author (Suzanne Collins), for making me stay up so late to finish this book that ends in such a disaster. I won't tell you how it ends, and I would certainly encourage you to read the books, because they are fun and exciting, just don't get you hopes up, because the ending sucks.

Did anyone else hate the ending, or are any of you actually reading these books?

Families Find Closure In Shaken Baby Case (Hanna Covington)

I worked on this case for a long time, and I am glad to see it come to a close. I don't like the way that channel 8 presented this story. I think  the real story is about Hanna, and how she and her Parents have been hurt.

Nicks Heart Story

So some friends of ours have a 6 year old son that is in desperate need of heart surgery. They are having a fund raiser for him on the 10th of June. Mindy is helping them with the event. Everyone should come and help out. They will be serving food, and having raffles and a silent auction. I'm posting a link to there website below, and also a picture of the flyer they are using. Rexburg Motorsports has promised to donate a Yamaha motorcycle for the event. It should be a great time.
