2011 K9 Conference

So I was lucky enough to get to go to the K9 Conference this year, which was held in Meridian. We did a lot of great training. Unfortunately Jenny has a sore leg, so I didn't do the patrol work with her this year, but I did get a lot of detection work in. It was a great time, and the training was excellent.
The news found out we were there when we all showed up in the little town of Emmet. I'm guessing the locals were wondering why 70 police cars suddenly showed up in town. :)   Anyway these two news stories were created while we were there.

Bringing it home

So we finally got it into the paint booth and sprayed it with some nice colors. I went with a deep blue with pearl in it, and a arctic white we put pearl in the clear coat over the white. I havn't seen it in the sunlight yet, but it looks great in the paint booth :)




There were a few things that got messed up while we were painting, but over all it looks beautiful. Scot did a fantastic job of painting it.

Tomorrow I will go and get it out of the booth, and bring it home. Then starts the process of putting her all back together.

Well i was very excited. We had made plans to paint my truck. It was finally going to get some color on it. Unfortunately Mother Nature had different ideas. It was -15 below zero last night. It was just simply too cold to paint. I even got the rest of the week off from work, so that I could spend some time putting it all back together. Oh well that didn't work out. I just hope that we can paint it next week.
